Platanus Portal Necklace
Stone: Labradorite (sea foam green that turns blue in some lights) + Moonstone
The color of the stone is a cross between sea foam and teal and changes depending on the light.
The exact one shown has sold. All purchases will now be commissions for me to make one similar to my prototype.
Each of these that I make is one of a kind* and made to order (All of my made to order designs require time for production. Production requirements vary due to volume of orders in my queue, but generally start at a 2-3 week turn around.) *no two will ever be exactly alike.
I gave this design the title 'Platanus Portal' to represent the story of two Sycamore trees in ancient Egypt that were believed to hold a portal between them where spirits would pass through. It is also a reference to the symbol for the Merkabah, which was believed to be a divine light vehicle that could be used for transcendence to higher spiritual realms in Jewish mysticism.
Material: Sterling Silver
