Every Cuff is one of a kind and MADE to ORDER in my studio from copper.
Because this is a custom item, please allow 14 days for production before shipment. If you have questions please convo me first.
Drawn, Etched, Cut and Finished in my studio out of copper sheet. Recessed areas are blackened to bring out the contrast of the lines. Made from 16g copper plate. 100% original/ one of a kind/ handmade~
Every copper cuff is sealed with lacquer. This prevents the finish and protects your skin from the green staining of the skin that happens to some. Though the sealer is preventative, with humidity and constant wear, the sealer may wear through this can be fixed with clear nail lacquer. Greening is natural and not an indication of an allergic reaction. You can apply clear nail lacquer to the piece in thin coats if you need to touch it up and this will act as a renewable barrier that you can reapply if necessary.
Process:
free hand drawing directly to the plate
etching
sawing out the form from the plate
filing down rough edges
hammering around a form to make it fit wrist comfortably
oxidizing (blackening and applying patina)
sanding (to bring out relief of raised lines)
sealing (to retain oxidation and patina)
